Amazing new things!

It's been quite a while since I updated my blog, and there have been SO many amazing new things coming about with Origami Owl!

They now offer even better hostess benefits for parties, the shipping charges have become less and even better when designers order in bulk, AND we have new products! The new catalogs will be out soon. I can't wait to share it with everyone!

Promotion Idea!!!

What better than an auction/giveaway! I'm now scheduled to donate two themed necklaces for two different events. One I've confirmed that I'm able to set out business cards with it for advertising... The other I haven't made it that far yet.

Just by planning this, I've received many different leads for both buyers and potential designers. I hope that this turns out to be a huge success... It's already shaping up to be!!

Advice from me to anyone else out there reading and interested in selling, or is selling. Check your local papers for charity events, or use word of mouth through family to see what pops up. You'll be amazed how many different gatherings use raffles or auctions to raise money! It's a great way to get your name out there.

Sooo excited!!

Sales, Sales, Sales

So obviously parties are a great way to turn a profit in direct selling. And I am going to end up hosting some parties here and there. However, I'm going for more of an online networking approach, to sell online to people I know stretching from California to Maryland, and Maine to Florida. So far, it looks like this may work out pretty well for me.

I now have a pretty huge order coming through this weekend that I'm pretty excited for. She has a group of birthdays lined up, with Mother's day right behind it, and wants one for each! I can't wait to see what she's looking to order and help her build them. I've had numerous compliments on the one I wear for 'advertising', which is turning out to be a huge success!

My next step now is to publicize this blog. I have to get it out there, not only to friends and family, but to the public in general. Every extra view on here can lead to a sale on my sale site. Origami Owl has turned out to be a success for me already, and truly is so much fun to work with. Nothing seems like a burden, and the company is great with their products and customer service.
